Summary[]

En route to LA, Jessica is detoured at a seedy truck stop where a series of murders makes it clear she isn't there by accident.

  • This is a homage to The Petrified Forest (1936) in which Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, and Leslie Howard are stuck together in a diner overnight.
  • Walter's flashbacks are done in black and white to emulate the film noir style.
  • This episode is tied with Snow White, Blood Red for the most murders with three.
  • First episode with more than one killer, where the killer(s) are also among the victims.
