Jessica heads to Montana to aid a young friend editing the last manuscript of the late writer, Trevor Hudson, but when murder results, she must weed through the lies of Hudson's scheming family to uncover the truth.

Second episode where the victim is one of Jessica's former students; the first was Murder by Appointment Only.

Victim: Robert "Bob" Jarrett

Killer: Sheriff Hank Masters (with help from Catherine "Cat" Hudson Drake)

Cause of death: Bludgeoned with rifle stock.

Motive: To preserve the legacy of his friend Trevor, as Jarrett was going to expose him as a fraud who never wrote anything.

What was stolen had no use to Adam Perry, now was there, so with no motive & that what was stolen had no use to him, you tell me as to why the framing, when it could certainly be exposed that was stolen had no use to Adam, right ?

There were two entrances into where Bob was going over the proof sheets, the one that Maria walked through to learn of the tape recorder & the one that Hank Masters had smashed to create the illusion of a burglary, Cat had said that she gave Hank a key, the question that I have is that with two entrances to the office, why is there only one for anyone to walk in & the other locked, if Bob needed a breather, he could have taken in the Montana night air by leaving that door unlocked, so therefore, the was no need for Hank to have a key much less having that door to be locked, now was there ?
