Summary[]
Sybil, a former student of Jessica's, returns to Cabot Cove with a new book. The Sins of Castle Cove upsets the townspeople because of the dirt it "reveals" about everyone's lives. Murder soon follows.

The late Rosanna Huffman, who plays Miriam, was the wife of series co-creator Richard Levinson.
This episode opens in the local beauty parlor, just like If It's Thursday, It Must Be Beverly, which first introduced Eve and the others.

Cause of death: Bludgeoned with a frying pan.
Motive: Was in love with Miriam and assumed that she was too, and was devastated when he learned, via their characters in Sybil Reed's book, that she couldn't stand him, and couldn't face the reality that she rejected him.
