Motive: To prevent Earl Harper from demolishing Annie Floret's hotel and because he loved her. Armand Beauclair, who was spying on Earl Harper for Scott Larkin, recorded Morel murdering Earl and blackmailed him, so Morel stabbed him with a knife.
