Sibella Stone was a gothic romance novelist and a friend of Jessica Fletcher. Sibella appeared in the episode, "Love's Deadly Desire", the final episode for season nine. In the end of the episode, Sibella was unveiled as the killer of her assistant, Marian King, when she found out that Marian had ambition to best Sibella in becoming an author, and that Marian was the affair partner of Sibella's husband, Derek.
