Richard Hazlitt is Seth's late brother and Alice Davies Hazlitt's late husband.
History[]
When he and his brother, Seth, were younger, they were very close. At one point, they both tried to join the navy, but they were turned down because of their age and drunk state.
Post-Death[]
After his body was discovered in his study, Seth and Jessica investigated his murder. They were able to set the time of death after his talk with Seth, which was half an hour later. Then, thanks to Jessica's intuiton, she discovered tar from a cigarette on the latch of the inner lock and a burnt Turkish cigarette lying on the floor.
