Trivia[]

  • Capucine (Belle Chaney) and Stewart Granger (Sir John Landry) previously starred together in North to Alaska (1960).
  • Several guest stars were in various John Wayne movies. Capucine and Stewart Granger were in North to Alaska (1960), Judy Geeson was in Brannigan (1975) and Cesar Romero was in Donovan's Reef (1963).

Goofs[]

  • When Jessica runs into the water to retrieve the package with the Inspector, her clothes are visibly wet up to her waist when they should be dry.
  • When the helicopter lands and takes off, it would have taken several minutes for the blades to stop and start rotating; the edits make it appear that the blades stop and then restart almost instantaneously (at appr 12 mins).
  • When Sir John tells Jessica about a sighting of a suspect, he mentions it was April at the Epsom derby meeting. The Epsom Derby is traditionally early June and never in April.
  • Inspector Kyle pointed out the chisel marks on the pedestal, then a minute later said that he had never been on the balcony before.
