Sidenote[edit | edit source]

Part one of this of this two part show is Magnum, P.I.: "Novel Connection (1986)"

This is the first of a two-part crossover story arc.

This episode was re-edited for syndication to wrap up the story as a stand-alone.

Larry Manetti stated that he did not enjoy working with Angela Lansbury, as she couldn't be bothered talking to him during filming. Larry got the vibe that Angela felt she was "above" him.

Goofs[edit | edit source]

Higgins is hit on the head and left bloody after a scuffle with a bad guy. Shortly afterwards, back at Robin's Nest, as he is saying his goodbyes, his head is miraculously healed with no scar or bandage.

When Jessica Fletcher is talking with Arthur Houston, he is using a computer, hitting a key once in a while as if paging though a document. But the computer isn't turned on - nothing on screen and no lights on the front of the PC/XT or PC/AT case.
