Although Eddie was a cop, he was still dealing with drug business, while trying to get rid of his past, Eddie end up causing trouble to himself, when he accidently kills Lydia Thurlow, he wasn't convicted, since his father was in charge of the investigation. Jessica finds out the truth later in the episode, freeing Martin Thurlow after 16 years in prison.
