Summary[]

Jessica's deductive abilities are in demand when a flamboyant hypnotist turns up dead, behind locked doors, in front of an audience of journalists whom he had put into a trance.

Trivia[]

Victim: Cagliostro

Killer: Andy Townsend

Cause of Death: Stabbed in the back

Motive: To avenge his father's suicide, caused due to Cagliostro making Bud Michaels write an article about him, then suing him for libel.

Setting: Lake Tahoe

Goofs[]

Obvious stand-in for Jessica on the back of the motorcycle when chasing Regina Kellijian (Michelle Phillips ).

When they had a croupier from a neighboring casino to put Andy under hypnosis after he was taught what to say to Andy, Jess had brought up that Andy wasn't in a hypnotic trance, but yet, he wasn't wearing anything to not hear the voice of the croupier , so explain how he faked being under due to the croupier? Then this, they fed him the story of Sherri crashing her way in with a poker, with feeding him that story, then explain the crashing of the sliding-glass door with the poker if it was a story that was fed to Andy, given that it was shown that Jess had looked at it when examining the murder scene, I kind of doubt that Andy smashed it, because he would have used that as the weapon, then wiped it clean, put it back, & then use what he had stolen to use as the murder weapon would be futile to use that weapon, now wouldn't it?
